We wish you a happy holiday season on this last show of the year. We will be back again the second week in January. As always we had a great time with your feedback starting with a package of Baklava from MikeAbleXray. Thank you, Mike! January is going to be a busy month. We are attending DarkCon in Pheonix from January 4th to the 7th and Phoenix Cactus Comicon on the 27th and 28th.

Christmas Gifts exchanged between us this year include The Roaring Twenties. With all of the recent discussion of using music in their games, the speakeasy environment of a Call of Cthulhu game seemed to be an easy one to fill with some 20s music.

Christmas reading this year includes a copy of Watchmen; an award winning graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. This gripping adventure will have you coming back for multiple reads.

After continuously brining up Looney Labs games over the lifetime of pulp gamer, it was only appropriate that we bring Andy Looney in on the discussion. It is always a treat to talk to him and he certainly entertained us today. Andy keeps up a weekly web column about himself and the company at wunderland.com.

Looney Labs has been producing creative and interesting games since 1996. Titles brought up during todays show include Fluxx, Icehouse, Treehouse, Chrononaughts, and Are You a Werewolf?. All of their games are wildly entertaining while surprisingly educational and suitable for people of all ages. Looney Labs games have won numerous awards including two Parents Choice and two Mensa Select awards and supported by their wide spread volunteer demo team called the Mad Lab Rabbits.

This is a very special episode with Edward Douglas of Midnight Syndicate. He shares not only of himself but his music with us. Ed also gives fond credit to Twilight Creations, Goodman Games, and Chaosium. We let this one run a few minutes longer to play four tracks from three of their CDs; tracks that will really get your adrenaline pumping.

Midnight Syndicate was founded in 1996 by Edward Douglas before he was joined by his fellow composer Gavin Goska in 1998. Their music has become a standard for Halloween and haunted attraction industries but as gamers we know their music best as soundtracks for our favorite role-playing games.

Midnight Syndicate has given us a signed copy of The 13th Hour to give you. Entries for this drawing must be in by December 20th, 2006 so get those entries in now. Games added to our review list include Iliad, Red Planet, and Ave Ceasar from Asmodee Games and Anasazi and Italia to by Mayfair Games.

In contributing to our discussion about the roleplaying game Asylum we are sent a link to Clockworks Games who is still supporting it. From the pdfs sent to us we look at the Book of Curses by Heyoka Studios. Gay Monopoly was brought up but not reviewed. Promos come to us from Gamers Haven and Audio Courses.

Our next discussion takes us to the world of pdf files. Kicking that discussion off is a reading of the introduction of The Fifth Tribe to background music written by Midnight Syndicate.

Evil Hat’s Don’t Rest Your Head is also given some attention again as we begin getting caught up with feedback again. We are behind again already giving us plenty of pulp for next week’s episode.

We are also treated to a very well done promo by Tracy and Laura Hickman for their podcast, DragonHearth.
