We had a great visit with Claudine from Upper Deck Entertainment at Games Expo. She told us of the new releases that are coming out in the World of Warcraft trading card game. It was even more exciting to hear the Dark Moon Faire has come into our world.

Today’s look at For Dummies naturally takes us to Dungeon Master For Dummies. While this book is targeted directly at Dungeons and Dragons, it lends some great advice for storytelling in any game system. It starts with the very basics but covers some advanced topics of entertainment and campaign management. It is certainly a recommended buy for new and and novice GMs alike.

While speaking of advice on running a game, visual aids came up as a topic and The Earth Cube Book was mentioned. It has some great photographs that can be used for inspiration and as visual aids for your wilderness adventuring party.
