Today's main topic is about running a game night, specifically for casual players. We also talk some about games for large groups. We pick out a few favorites. This is just one of the great topics in today's show that came from the feedback. There were a ton of games mentioned. These include Apples to Apples, Are You a Werewolf?, Time's Up, Taboo, Alibi, Wits and Wagers, Saboteur, Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan, Starfleet Battles, Pipe Works, Catan Dice Game, and Carcassonne. This discussion took us also into a topic of how to teach a game, something presented very well in this article by Mayfair Games.
Coming Events include Worldwide D&D Day with SAGA, Con Games, Origins, and Free RPG Day. We also announced the release of the Gen Con podcasting and media events.
Don was recently interviewed on The Digital Front. Take a listen to that show to learn more about what is going on behind the scenes of our podcasting world. We also learned from Alan Sugarbaker from Ogre Cave, who also let us know about some GTS reports. |
