Family

If you are in Sierra Vista, Arizona, join our Meetup group to participate. We meet on the second Wednesday of every month. Bring your children, ages 8 and above anytime after 6 PM. Meet new people, discover new games, and play together.
You will find that games are fuel for a healthy brain and a great way to bring the family together. You can feel good about buying entertainment that will keep your kids engaged, employ their imagination, and exercise their critical thinking skills. You will be surprised at how much fun you will have yourself.
Just for kicks, we jotted down a quick list of some skills that are frequently exercised when we play the games that we enjoy. The best part is, we aren’t thinking about the skills, we are just having fun playing the games.
Here is our first run-down: creativity, strategy, tactics, resource management, turn-taking (for the younger players), teamwork, sportsmanship, sharing, deduction, logic, intuition, social skills, communication, spacial analysis, persuasion, diplomacy, economy, problem solving, risk management, management, presentation skills, logistics, history, geography, math, spelling, reading, probability, and vocabulary.
We are looking forward to Family Night and hope you will join us. Its going to be a great time!
