Just want to point out that in the Base Game, the standard turn order for the first round is determined by tile draw (randomly, with income given to later players). The auction for turn order is listed in the rules as a *variant* for those who dislike randomness.
And one correction: at end game, you win 1 vp per 2 income (not 1:1).
