PGOC 092: Opportunity |
|
Today we tease you with some upcoming plans for the pulp gamer network and throw out an opportunity for writers. We have some great discussion today, all spurred by your feedback from the show. Some plugs today include The RPG Haven Podcast, Emerald City Game Fest, and of course, Uncle Bear. Our famous TomG also has a blog, where he posts a lot of his feedback to this and other shows. |

Thanks for the link, Foolster! Sometimes we don't always get them up in the show notes (as you can see). Good luck with your submission!
Hey gang, thanks a lot of such a thorough and thoughtful response to my initial comment about the full disclosure issue. I understand your positions much better now and actually tend to agree a bit more with you. I didn't fully get the comparison you were making between reviews and non-reviews and why the former doesn't have to do full disclosure while the latter now does. I see that more clearly now and I think you make a solid point. Thanks for taking the time to go back into it. And especially thanks for the nice plug for our show, Ron!
Keep up the good work.
Hey folks,
Thanks for the air time and mentioning my blog. I got a nice traffic spike from that.
There's new content on OoC 91 & this shwo over there now. Check it out.
I like the echo and your placement of my feedback was in just the right spot. It's fun.
Thanks for mentioning Berin. I found his blog. It's good. I recommend it to those reading this who haven't visited it yet.
From this show I very much enjoyed the discussion on playtesting. Playtesting seems very glamorous but it is sometimes difficult and not so much fun. Especially if the game is really broken.
I have another '-ism' - faketitious. Made up by my 7 year old son for use instead of fictitious. Cute. Like Don's made up words.
Glad to see Ron back but I miss Jess and Veronica.
Go Forth and Game,

Great Ceasars Ghost! Pulp Gamer is breaking into print media!? Jimmy, get me some pictures. "Virtual Voices Vie for Top Talent". Lois, get me a story. Clark, you're kind of a geek with those glasses, don't you wear contacts? You go undercover and pose as one of these gamer corespondents.

Great show guys, thanks for the reply.
I was pretty sure that guy who claimed the D20 OGL was dead was well, dead wrong. Mostly I wanted to be sure. Judging from his reply to me when I told him he was wrong, the guy seemed pretty convinced he's right, so I'm not going to bother further with him.
I noticed no link to my page in the notes, and that's good because I'm pretty sure I didn't post one. For those who might be interested in doing art for my project, My e-mail again is Foolster(@)J-fan.com. I also have a wiki for my RPG projects at http://www.d20toolbox.pbwiki.com/
I'm interesting in the news copy thing and I'm going to work on submitting something.
