I'm on the east coast (near NYC) and I SO wish we had some sort of GM conference here!!!!

Silvester, doing a GM conference is amazingly easy. Find a space, find some speakers, and put out some invites to local stores and clubs. The response will overwhelm you.

Another good show folks. Here are my thoughts.
-DC Adventures - very interesting. It will be cool to play in the Kingdom Come or The Golden Age worlds.
-Gaming in other cultures - you should do a show on this. I know the indie rpg world has a lot of input and contact with gamers of other than American descent. And I'll mention Lucha Libre Hero(?) that is up for an ENnie.
I really need to play BASH!.
I agree with Jason that everyone should play Lady Blackbird. It is an excellent game and so quick and easy to read and learn. I'm working on a hack/variant of it. You should also check out The Mustang, The Plant, and Ghost Echo. Excellent free games.
-Player Feedback - this is a great idea. We do this every time in one of my groups and when we remember in the other. I agree that having an upfront discussion about what each person wants from the game and then checking to see if they got that post game is a great idea. The question "What is good?" is also a subject that needs some attention. More on that below. but players should be able to accept criticism from each other and the GM. We all want to hone our craft and this is one way to do so.
CONGRATS to JESS on your ENnie nominations. Best of luck to you.
Lastly, to promote my self a bit. I'm starting an interview series on my blog (Go Forth And Game) called Six Questions With.... I'm talking to gamers and gaming luminaries like Jason, Jess, Ron and Veronica, Don, and the rest of the PG crew. In addition I have Eric Summerer of The Dice Tower, Cody and John from Game On!, the guys from The Spiel, Eloy Lasanta from Third Eye Games, and a bunch of others lined up. The interview will cover what makes a good game and a good player, reviewing, podcasting, and a variety of other topics. The first interview drops today so please visit and add your comments (tomgurg.wordpress.com)
